I had the identical problem about a year ago. My left foot was always getting soaked. I tried everything to find the leak. I pumped it full of air several times but couldn’t find the problem. I ended up sending it back to Whites. The leak was related to a small pin hole which they patched. I haven’t had any further problems with the suit.

Hey Mark,we have identified this issue with the feet on the Fusions and are now changing from 210 denier to 500 on the sole of the feet, to upgrade the abrassion resistence. If you drop into your local whites dealer they should have repair kits available. it is a quick easy fix to get you back into the water.

I found a quicker way to find the leak in the foot. We tried the air filled suit method, both inside out and out side in without success. Then I turned the suit inside out and filled the leg with water. Instantly the trickle was evident from two pin holes. I marked the wholes with a sharpee, applied a bit of duct tape and no more leak.

Will this fix be incorporated in the suit I just ordered today?

If it’s to cold for a 3mm, it’s cold enough for a drysuit wink

Hey John, good job with the McGiver duct tape fix, you can also get a patch kit and do a quick fix anywhere, anytime. No worries Bill, this issue has been addressed and your new suit will be fine, but I might play with your new bullet a little bit just for you. Welcome to the Whites team.
