Ended up being terrible conditions at La Jolla this last weekend so I didn’t dive the suit :(    Despite that it was still a great weekend.  I got to meet and hang out with a great group of people who were all very enthusiastic about Whites Fusion.  Having just moved to San Diego it was great to meet many of the local divers.  After all the research I had done previously I was already 90% sold before I went down to the event wink  I had the chance to talk and ask questions in person of people who owned Whites Fusion suits.

Justin and Doug were very knowledgeable and did a great job in demonstrating the features of the suit.  (Some things don’t come over well just reading about it wink)  After trying on the suit I recognized immediately the advantages over my current drysuit.  That coupled with all the research, and personal testimonials was enough…. I ordered my Whites Fusion Bullet today smile  I had a few options that I wanted wink  Hopefully it will be here by the time I go to the Coronados in two weeks…. I can’t wait! smile

If it’s to cold for a 3mm, it’s cold enough for a drysuit wink

Hey Doug!  Was great meeting you guys smile  I don’t know about being an “inspiration” but I for one appreciate doing business with a company that knows how to “think outside the box” when it comes to coming up with better ways to make life easier for us smile

One of the things that impressed me was that the few minor criticisms (calf size as an example) that I had heard about were already being addressed.  That tells me that Whites doesn’t take their customers for granted and is always looking for ways to improve their product smile

Of course there will be photos wink

Just received a call from Dana… she says that she was told that the Bullet is no longer being made in-house and that it’s going to be at least 3-4 weeks :(

Hey Bill, sorry for the late reply, we got slammed in Monterey over the weekend. Not sure what happened in the line of communication but Im back in the office today and the suits are still being made in house. We are still a little backed up but it should not require 3-4 weeks to get your suit. I’ll see what I can find out for you, and let you know.
Thanks again for your help Bill.
Talk to you soon,
Doug.

Slammed in Monterey sounds like a good thing… or maybe not wink  Very odd mis-communication… but thats why I usually like dealing with people directly rather than get it second or third hand wink

Good news that I won’t have to wait so long.  Did 3 dives at La Jolla on Saturday and was really noticing the difference between how my current drysuit felt versus the Fusion :(  Really looking forward to getting my suit smile

No problemo Doug… looking forward to a dive trip up your way maybe in the fall smile

Later!

Hey Bill, slammed in Monterey was a good thing indeed. Next time we have to dive La Jolla as well, no excuses. If you head up this way drop us a line, we’ll do the same if we head back down your way.
Later!
