Frequently Asked Questions

How do I measure properly for my new drysuit

  • We recommend you have your authorized Whites dealer measure you
  • Wear a swimsuit or very light clothing while you are being measured
  • Follow our step-by-step measuring guide

How do I tuck my Neoprene Seals

One of the most common errors made by first time dry suit divers is failing to tuck or 'roll in' their neoprene neck and wrist seals. If this step is missed, you will get wet!
For detailed instuctions, consult the 'Tuck Neoprene Neck Seal' or the 'Tuck Neoprene Wrist Seals' section of the Dry Suit Owner's Manual.

What is the cure for stinky wetsuits

mirazyme bottle for stinky diving suit

Neoprene is the perfect place for foul smelling bacteria to thrive. If your wetsuit is giving you a bad smell, there is new product on the market called Mirazyme.

Originally developed for oil spill clean up, this product is not a traditional soap, but a microbial 'bacteria' eater. The bacteria found in Myrazme are the 'good guys' which feed on the 'bad guys'.
We have used this cleaner in our repair facility for over a year with great success. If your suit stinks, give it a try. (Mirazyme can be found in most scuba shops)

How do I trim my seals?

Given the wide variety of body shapes and sizes that the new Fusion drysuit can accommodate, whites is using cone seals for all Fusion suits. Many divers will already be familiar with the need to trim neck seals, but we encourage we to watch the above video prior to trimming your seals.

If you do not feel comfortable trimming your seals please contact Whites Manufacturing to have a qualified sales person walk you through the process. If you wish to order replacement seals please contact your Whites authorizes dealer.
